Glasgow Chiropractor, Dr. Susan Messer
Dr. Susan Messer

Dr. Susan Messer is a 1997 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College.  She has 2 Distinguished Service Awards from the State of Michigan where she practiced for 10 years in family care. It was not uncommon for Dr. Messer to treat 4 generations of the same family ~ from newborn babies to great-grandma.  Her love of family extends into her own life with her 4 children. It was chiropractic care that assisted her in overcoming her own fertility issues allowing her to give birth to her 2 young daughters.

In addition to family practice, she spent almost 2 years working as a Disney Doc in Orlando Florida where she got to help cast members such as Minnie Mouse and Dory the Fish feel better.  While in Orlando, she also treated SeaWorld trainers and employees as well as the Track and Field team preparing for the Beijing Olympics. One of her patients achieved a bronze medal!

Dr. Messer’s philosophy of chiropractic wellness uses multiple forces working together to achieve optimum results. She believes in a unique whole body and drug free approach to help you reach your wellness potential. To achieve the best possible health it's important to have; a proper functioning nervous system, positive mental attitude, adequate nutrition/diet, sufficient rest/sleep and plenty of exercise. Health is not the absence of pain, symptoms, and disease, It`s the balance of physical, mental, and social well being.

Currently Dr. Messer has moved back to the area where she was raised.  She enjoys being back in the Delaware/Pennsylvania region where she enjoys those special things like seasons, good food, favorite sports teams, and of course friends and family.

Dr. Murray Asks some important questions of interest to Glasgow residents - Chiropractor Glasgow Dr. Murray Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
Would you rather feel good or be healthy?
Ask most people in Glasgow and they want to feel good. Careful! Would you take medicine that makes you feel good, rather than vomit to expel improperly prepared food? Every chiropractic patient knows that you can't measure your health by how you feel. True health is when your body works as it should.
